Everyone who reads this blog shouldn’t go see the new Fantastic Four movie. Yes all 2 of you should boycott it because Fox is a money hungry greedy, hypocritical corporation that needs to be taught a lesson. I came across a story here about someone who happened to work at a theatre that had an advance screening of the film. He got to watch it and wasn’t that impressed with the movie, so he went online and wrote a not so nice review. Well, fox somehow got wind of this and tracked him down and managed to get this person fired from his job at the movie theatre. They also threatened to pull all their business from that theatre. Apparently they managed to get the person fired by saying that he “broke embargo”, and not because he gave a negative review. I don’t know the full details but, this just doesn’t make any sense to me. You would think that at an advanced screening the point is to get people to go see the movie and tell their friends about it. To stop people from saying your movies are crap, the solution isn’t to get them fired, its to stop making crappy movies. I should probably stop right now, because maybe Fox will track me down and ban me from ever seeing another Fox movie somehow. You can read many other reviews of the movie online, but I doubt that Fox is tracking all those people down and getting them fired from their jobs.
I was actaully planning on seeing The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer when it came out, but now I think I’ll just download it at a later date. Now that I said that, I’m afraid that there will be a swat team at the door about to take me down for implying that I am planning on”stealing” the movie. Why won’t these companies learn that we are the ones that make them their billions of dollars, and even if Fantastic Four is a crappy movie, I’m sure it will make hundreds of millions of dollars, so to Fox all I have to say is: “What’s up with that?”

Fantastic Four: Fox is coming to get you.

The movie was unfantastic to say the least. It was unemotional and marred by some obvious and annoying product placement.
